Tension: As Taskforce Invade & Recover Items From Okorocha’s Daughter’s Mall in Owerri (Photos)


The task force newly created by the governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, to recover Imo missing assets stolen by the former governor, Rochas Okorocha, and his cohorts has, on Thursday night, invaded a shopping mall, House of Freeda, reportedly owned by Okorocha’s daughter.

They raided the shopping mall in search of government property and carted away property and merchandise believed to belong to the Imo State government.

In the course of the operation, several workers in the complex were severely wounded.

The invasion supervised by the Chairman of the Committee, Hon Jasper Ndubuaku saw properties and merchandise including clothes, chairs and fridges were carted away under his watch

However, the fierce-looking angry youths invaded shops owned by individuals not related to the former governor and carted away electronic appliances and other expensive items that were displayed for sale.
