The people’s responsive and listening government of governor Emeka Ihedioha has swung into immediate action to alleviate the level of environmental decadence in the Owerri and it’s environs, thereby improving the living condition of the people of Imo State. This development is contained in a recent press release signed by the Imo ENTRACO chief, Hon Alex Emeziem. The press release reads as follows:
“In line with the GO-GREEN & STAY-CLEAN programme of Imo State Government, residence are advised to bag their refuse and dump them at designated places from 6pm to 7am daily.
This is to ensure easy evacuation and keep the environment clean.
Defaulters who fail to adhere strictly to this instruction will pay N10,000 fine.
Lets’ REBUILD Imo, GO-GREEN & STAY-CLEAN”

This report is viewed in good light following the high level of environmental decadency in Owerri which is being compounded by the terrible stench of putrid essence posing a major health challenge in the overall health of Imolites. Cue the awe inspiring inauguration speech on May 29th, 2019 at the inauguration ceremony Owerri Imo State capital, this is a promise redeemed to the people of Imo State.
