Lagos State Commissioner for Information, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo had announced the closing down of all public and private schools within the state over coronavirus.

A statement signed by the Commissioner stated the decision to shut down schools became necessary to stop children and their teachers from getting more vulnerable to the virus.
