Following the expanding instances of the savage Coronavirus in Lagos State nearly every day, the State House of Assembly, yesterday, reacted quickly with a bill to contain its further spread in the state.
The Bill, titled, “A Bill for a Law to Combat and Stop the Spread of Corona Virus Pandemic in Lagos State and for Connected Purposes,” was spent into law yesterday. It experienced the first and second readings individually, during yesterday’s whole, under the watchful eye of the legislators set out on a two-hour break.
The House Committee on Health Services was commanded to additionally work and intentional on the Bill, which has 25 segments under the watchful eye of the legislators left on the said two-hour break.
After the break, the Committee presented its work, which was acknowledged by the House and went into law. From that point, the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa coordinated the Clerk of the House, Mr. Azeez Sanni to send a spotless duplicate of it to the state senator, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his consent.
