Lady Nwachukwu, a virtuous woman…..Rex Okoro SA Youth Development

Hon. Rex Okoro, the SA to the Governor of Imo State on Youth Development, last Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Nkumeato in Ihitte/ Uboma LGA, described the mother to one of his personal aides, Comrade Sabinus Nwachukwu, as a virtuous woman and an epitome of discipline and Godliness. Okoro who led a powerful delegation of IMO youths to grace the investiture ceremony of Ezinne Patricia Nwachukwu was in the area to congratulate the mother of the ex NAISS president, Sabinus Nwachukwu on the occasion of the conferment of the Ezinne merit award on her by the catholic community of Nkumeato Ihitte. The ceremony took place at the St. Theresa Catholic Parish, Nkumeato, where no less than four priests including the indigenous ones, officiated at the well-attended ceremony. Okoro took time also to praise his political assistant, comrade Sabinus Nwachukwu, for his steadfastness and support especially for the rebuild Imo Agenda Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha and enjoined other Imo youths to key in.

The ceremony itself was the gathering of the crème-de-la crème of Imo youths who thronged the church premises and home of their colleague in solidarity with the ex NAISS President, Sabinus Nwachukwu and his mother, a Lady of the Knight and now Ezinne of the Catholic Church, Mrs Patricia Nkemakolam Nwachukwu.

The Ezinne award recipient Lady Nwachukwu, in response and appreciation of her, expressed joy and gladness with the outpouring of praises and encomiums from guests and family relations who witnessed the investiture. She attributed the honour done to her by the Ezinne title, to her commitment and devotion to the services of God, humanity, the church and her family. She used the opportunity offered by the event to share out gifts including clothing materials to her fellow women including the indigent and some widows, as her of further appreciating God and showing love to one another, among those who were beaming with smiles after collecting their unexpected gift items from Lady Nwachukwu.

Apart from Hon. Rex Okoro, other dignitaries at the memorable event include Hon. Michael Crown Njoku, member representing Ihitte/ Uboma in Imo state House of Assembly, Dr Harold Pharmacy and Satellite Medicare, Owerri, Hon. Isaac Iwuanyanwu of the Nigerian People’s Congress (NPC) and Comrade Anyi Kamba of ENTRACO, as well as Hector Amaechi. The Deputy Editor, Community Watchdog Newspaper Owerri, Comrade Kenneth Okonkwo, was in attendance to record the event. The highlight of the occasion was the cutting of cake and display of dances, praises, sing songs, group photographs etc.
