Nine suspects on Friday tested negative for coronavirus in Kano State, commissioner for health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa said.
The new negative results were confirmed a week after the government revealed that three other suspected cases also turned out negative.
While addressing a press conference, the commissioner disclosed that the Isolation centre in Yargaya village has been relocated to the Public Health and Diagnostic Centre at Dawakin-Kudu.
The relocation came 24 hours after media reports revealed the deplorable condition of Yargaya Isolation centre.
Dr Tsanyaya reiterated the government’s preparedness to curtail the spread of the virus in Kano.
